Travelling is one of the most amazing things to do in life. I’ve never met anyone who didn’t love travelling, getting to know new places and having a fresh perspective in life thought travelling. In my opinion travelling is one of the most fulfilling and mind opening experiences. You get to know the history, the culture and the customs of a city thought out the people. However, whenever I’m visiting this wonderful new places I also love to feel at home and the things that I bring with me play a pretty important role, specially if we are talking about my favourite thing ever which is skincare.
Sadly the luggage space in our bags is not infinite so we have to be to maximise our liquids as much as possible. What I love to do is to put everything that I need in little mini’s. Some of the things are in their actual packaging and other’s I have run out of so I fill them with new products that are actually in rotation in my skincare regimen.
As I have a more limited product stash than what I usually have at home I always try to bring with me versatile products that I can use in the morning and evening. Also I always have some specific products for spots or some good face masks with me in case I or the people with me really need them!
cleansing: I have normal to dry skin so to cleanse my face I always have the La Roche Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Facial Cleanser because it’s super gentle and I can use it in the morning and evening. When it comes to cleansing but to take my makeup off I have two must haves. I use Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm which nicely melts down all of the makeup in face and neck and then I use Biossance Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil to remove my eye makeup since cleansing oils are very gentle in the hole eye area specially on the brows & lashes.
mists and serums: After washing my face I apply my toner I always have two with me the Aloe Calming Toner and Caudalie Moisturizing Toner which are great for the morning and the evening. I love to take The Body Shop Vitamin E Essence with me because it’s amazing since it helps with all of the skincare products absorption. And finally of serum I adore the The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5.hydrating products: For my hydration ritual I have quite a few key products. First the eye cream, at the moment I’m loving Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb. Then for my face creams I have a lighter formula which is the wonderful Belif Aqua Bomb and a richer formula which is the powerful Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich. For moment when I’m specially dry I will apply the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask with Avocado which is the dreamiest cream in the hole world. For face oil my favorite is The Ordinary 100% Virgin Marula Oil, for lip balm I’m currently using The Body Shop Wild Argan Solid Oil Lips and for my sunscreen which is the most important step for sure I use the La Roche Posay Ultra Light Face Sunscreen Fluid.
extra products: Then I always take with me eye drops because my eyes are pretty dry and red so I use the Rohto Cooling Eye Drops to help with that. And I also have diverse products that I always take but don’t always use. I always have something for spots with me and I like to take The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil. Then i have two little Kiehl’s pots where I put my favourite masks when my skin is a little bit naughty by Origins the and the Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores. Also I have this amazing Muji refillable compartment which has five spaces to put whatever you want and it doesn’t leak! In there I have some face scrubs like the St. Ives Face Scrub and Cetaphil Extra Gentle Scrub, one gel cleanser The Body Shop Seaweed Gel Wash and two other masks the Origins Out of Trouble Mask and the Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask.
